| Canyon Records and Changing Hands Bookstore present a concert with guitarist Gabriel Ayala and five-time Grammy nominated percussionist Will Clipman. The pair perform selections from Ayala’s CD, Portraits, and Clipman’s Pathfinder. He has studied with Philip Hii and has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Arts, the National Museum for the American Indian, the Kerr Cultural Center, the Meyer Theatre, and other venues throughout the country. Will Clipman, who has mastered a pan-global palette of percussion instruments, has recorded some fifty albums, including twenty-one for Canyon Records, where he is house percussionist. He performs and records with R. Carlos Nakai, William Eaton, Nawang Khechog, Gentle Thunder, Mary Redhouse, Ash Dargan, Robert Tree Cody, Randy Wood, Arvel Bird, and Amber Norgaard, among others. In addition to his Grammy nominations, he is a two-time Native American Music Award winner. COST: The purchase, at Changing Hands, of either Portraits or Pathfinder. More info: canyonrecords.com.
